Litters at Etude Somalis

This is a repeat breeding. Blanca and Felix keep giving us lovely boys... we really want a girl. We're trying for one last time. After this litter, Blanca will be spayed and be available to go to a pet home. Right now it's not looking like it will be a large litter, keeping our fingers crossed... Alas, it was not to be, Blanca gave us two kittens (as we suspected she might), both blue silver boys. While it's technically possible that one of these boys might turn out to be so stunningly spectacular that we decide to keep him, we're pretty set for boys right now, so most likely we will offer these babies to people on our waiting list. They are looking like they'll have amazing personalities already. At just two weeks of age, they'll snuggle into your hand and start purring and kneading when you pet them (I've never seen a kitten purr for humans at this age before unless they were bottle fed and considered the human to be their mother - normally they reserve their attention strictly for Mama at this point).

Lisa gave us five kittens in her recent litter. We have four Abys (two girls and two boys) and a Somali boy. All of the Abys will be available to pet homes and possibly the somali boy as well, although we're reserving our decision on him for a while... he needs to grow up a little first. The babies are much too young at this point to say anything about their looks or personalities... they're wee babies.
